Bruce Connor was an artist from SF know for his assemblage films. I hadn’t seen this film, Erasing Dreamland. Beautiful editing.

Did You Read? (via ifc)

I hardly use the acronym ROFL… but this clip was so funny that it had me ROFL. It’s on my list of favorite scenes from IFC’s Portlandia. This happens just about everywhere, obviously… and not just Portland. The “assumed” competition of having “read up” on all of the publication is insane. There’s also a fair amount of “Did You See?” but, granted, reading is far more intellectual. Nice mock.

(Thx for the link, @couch)

It’s funny, because it’s true.

Is there a Facebook equivalent to this visualization of mapping my network?

The Tree of Life Trailer 2011 HD (via TheMovieReel)

I’ve been waiting for years to see this movie. Terrence Malick is by far my favorite director of all time, and this movie looks like it might be his masterpiece.

This is fabulous. Also can’t wait for this movie to come out.

I LOVE Malick. In anticipation, I also recommend watching this beautiful documentary he produced called The Unforeseen .
